Ben Scheltus
General Manager
Ben is a highly experienced senior consulting professional with more than 30 years' experience across engineering, consulting, business continuity, and business management. He bridges IT and business management, with deep expertise in vendor liaison, large project delivery, disaster recovery planning, procurement, systems operations, and business case development.
At KPMG Australia, Ben led the business continuity program end-to-end — documentation, exercising, communications, and crisis management — working closely with IT to align disaster recovery with business continuity planning. He's comfortable at all levels of management and skilled at mobilising major-company resources to deliver outcomes.
Ben has worked across several European countries, with a background spanning the chemical, IT, and services industries.
For more than ten years, he has run Climate Alliance Limited, a not-for-profit helping company directors understand the risks and opportunities of climate change. He's a regular speaker for the Governance Institute and the Business Continuity Institute (Australia), a long-time Council member of the Victorian Institute of Technology, and currently Chair of its Compliance and Risk Committee.
Nicholas Dedman
Project Manager
Nicholas is a delivery-focused IT project and program manager with over 21 years' experience managing complex projects across Health, Construction, Mining, Services, Science and Technology, Manufacturing, and Finance in medium to enterprise organisations.
Over 16 years, he has delivered project management contract services nationally and internationally for organisations including Transfield Services, Commonwealth Bank, Vision Stream, AusHealth International, Hansen Yuncken & Leighton Construction, ANSTO, and the NSW Department of Justice — spanning major infrastructure asset renewal programs and corporate-wide ERP (SAP) implementations.
He has extensive experience developing and managing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs within NSW Health, Transfield Services, and ANSTO, from business case through delivery and closure. Nicholas is skilled across multiple project management frameworks and associated tools, with strong capability in risk, financial, change, stakeholder, and schedule management.
Nicholas co-founded ThePMO Group Pty Ltd in 2008 and was a major contributor to its Project Symphony project management software. He holds an Australian General Security Clearance.
