  • Policy and Programme Management
    This guide focusses on the Policy and Programme Management stage of the BCM Lifecycle. It will explain the importance of having a business continuity policy and a structured approach aimed at implementing the business continuity management (BCM) programme. It contains a breakdown of how to plan, structure, approve and disseminate a BC policy, as well as plan organise, implement and launch a BCM Programme leading to a BCMS.

  • Embedding Business Continuity
    This guide focusses on the Embedding stage of the BCM Lifecycle. It covers the process of embedding the knowledge gained from the planning process by developing the skills, attitudes and behaviours of staff desired by their organisation. Using case studies and hints and tips, this guide will offer guidance to those designing and developing a business continuity embedding programme.

  • Analysis
    This guide focusses on the Analysis stage of the BCM Lifecycle. It covers the different types of BIA, from the initial BIA, through to the risk assessment and finally transition to the Design stage.     This guide focusses on the Implementation stage of the BCM Lifecycle. Using a selection of annex files and hints and tips, it will highlight the documentation of priorities, procedures, responsibilities and resources used to responds to an incident. This guide aims to provide principles that constitute good practice in plan development.

  • Validation
    This guide focusses on the Validation stage of the BCM Lifecycle. It will help you confirm that your organization’s BCP is fit for purpose. Using case studies and annex files, this guide will help you complete the important BCM activities that are the endorsement and substantiation of your programme.
